It’s no secret or lie that photographing couples is one of my passions and loves in life. My goal is to show the world just how much you and your sweetie love each other, and I have a few tricks up my sleeves to do just that! First I am going to make sure I do everything in my power to make sure you are comfortable with me. Everyone is nervous in front of the camera so if we can eliminate those nerves and you can trust me behind the camera you both will appear more natural and relaxed. I want to have fun when we take your photos, so don’t expect to just be standing around while I tell you to tilt your head to the left.
I always start out teaching you my three basic poses to ease the nerves. (Feel free to laugh at my creative phrases)
•Facing Each Other:
Very easy and self explanatory, starting out in this pose give us lots of options for poses! Long dreamy stares in each others eyes, making fun faces, and we cant forget lots of kisses!
•Hip to Belly Button:
Just like it sounds! Putting your hip against your loves belly button is going to force half of your body behind them. Its going to slim you down and do all kinds of awesome things to your body.
• Butts to Nuts:
This may be my personal favorite starting pose to explain to couples because I always get a good laugh. This starting pose tends to give me the option for some very cuddly and intimate poses which I can never get enough of!
There is nothing wrong with traditional stand here and smile at me photos, but I would rather photograph you doing something genuine, candid, natural and all you. I pose my couples knowing that they will naturally react and I get honest candid photographs that really showcases the love as a result. Action photo’s help get you out of your comfort zone faster and make you focus and interact more with your significant other instead of me. I am not telling you to completely ignore me when we are taking pictures but when you interact with each other instead of me I can capture those raw and genuine moments.

If you feel the overwhelming desire to wrap up your love in your arms, DO IT! If you’ve never thought their lips looked more kissable, KISS THEM. If you want to whisper how much you love them, then whisper away! I want to capture your genuine and raw love, so don’t be afraid to act on those feelings and impulses. It’s those real moments that we can get the most true and honest photographs that document your love for each other.
