1. Moody and intimate sunset Ruby Beach elopement (insane fairytale florals & lanterns)

2. Cozy, casual & playful camping sunrise couple shoot (Hoh rainforest with a camp set up)

3. Steamy hot tub sunset couple session at the airbnb (whiskey, cigars & steam)

4. Sunrise full elopement day content/bridals in three locations (lake, forest & waterfall)

5. Engagement style sunset beach couple shoot (formal & a casual look with a air mattress, pizza & beer)

6. Opt 1: Mountain elopement sunrise bridals (snow levels may affect this location but will be scouted out before the retreat)

6. Opt 2: Rialto Beach sunrise bridals (four mile round trip walk on the beach to Hole in the Wall, which is 100% worth the trek.)

EDUCATION & JOURNALING & MEDITATION SESSION:

1. Mid day Wednesday: Marketing strategy education to book your ideal clients & organization and workflow management. Followed by open Q&A

•Individual business/goal coaching with 5 attendees (We will cover topics of YOUR choice and setting goals to elevate your business)

2. Mid day Thursday: Deep thought journaling & meditation prompts to reset your mind & invite success in your life.

3. I am an open book! Feel free to ask me any questions throughout the retreat. I will be leading the first portions of the shoots with emphasis on storytelling & playful (lots of movement) posing.

COST & WHAT IS INCLUDED: 

Cost: $1725 (payment plans available)

What’s included:  Three nights, four day boarding, breakfast, snacks, dinner two nights, (We will be having an early dinner as a group before our last sunset session at one of the most bomb pizza & wing places in Port Angeles called Westside Pizza.) drinks, swag bags & a digital info PDF including the details about the retreat & some info about the area we’re going to. It will include the model & vendor info, our itinerary, packing list and a list of some things to do in the area after or before the retreat.

What is not included: Flights & transportation to the airbnb, lunches and dinner one of our three nights.

( A group chat will be created on Instagram to chat with other attendees about carpooling & renting cars)

OUR SPACE:

Soar 20 ft in the trees as you overlook the PNW ocean. Relax in many areas of this unique craftsman treehouse. You can be mesmerized as you sit or sleep in the large window seat watching the ships sail by, eagles fly across your window, deer eat in the meadow below-or spend time in the hammock hanging from the tree inside or the loft hammock. Chill in one of the two fire heated hot tubs or sit around one of the 3 fire pits, swing on the double wood swing or feel like you are a kid again on a swing looking out at the water. Every part of the treehouse & main house is unique-you will find yourself wanting to unplug and enjoy every aspect of the house.

We will be split between two spaces both on the same property. Five attendees in the tree house and five attendees with me and three other vendors in the main house. We will have access to four fire pits and two hot tubs! (Heck ya!) There are a total of 4 beds in the treehouse (two double beds and one queen bed & one air mattress) which means 2 people will be bed sharing or have options (if you’d rather) to sleep in a cozy hammock! There are a total of 3 beds available in the main house (one double bed and one queen bed & one sofa bed) which means 2 people will be bed sharing or have options (if you’d rather) to sleep in a cozy hammock or on an air mattress. Beds will be a first come first serve basis and any attendees coming together will be asked to bed share.

EXPECTATIONS:

Content retreats are an incredible way to vamp up your portfolio & website and are your stepping stones to start booking your dream destination shoots. If you are wanting to expand into the destination & elopement market, this retreat is for you! You’ll meet and network with other photographers & vendors from all over the world and build relationships with people in our industry. This is great for referrals, for learning from other photographers, and to make some life long photog friends!

These locations will provide you the expertise to pass on to future clients. In my experience clients are less likely to book with you if you have no information and experience in the location they are inquiring. If you’ve never shot in the PNW of Washington (and want to get more bookings here!), this retreat is your chance to build your knowledge & portfolio. It’s not just the content that has marketability but the knowledge of the location itself!

Storytelling in the industry is booming and we will be focusing on capturing real intimate moments that tell a story. My style is very movement and intimately based with some steam and spice sprinkled in. Mood boards will be posted on social media as well as the booked couples for our shoots.

Olympic National Park is massive and has such diverse opportunities for landscapes. It has intense wide spaces but with 12 people total photographing one couple it can start to feel crowded. We will be splitting up into groups, based off your posing style into four shooters and be rotating out of the center spot to assure that EVERYONE gets that perfect middle shot. Groups will each take turns posing the couples to their liking. Feel free to shoot from the sides while other groups take their turn. There is no tolerance for drama. If you have a shot in mind take the time during your allotted time to get that shot or come to me and ask me to set the couple in that pose for the whole group to shoot. Shoots move fast and we only have so much time with good light so there is opportunity for tensions to get high, but don’t worry you are sure to leave with A LOT of amazing content.

FAQS:

Cancellation / rescheduling: Your $500 deposit is 100% non refundable. If you choose to cancel and give up your ticket for any reason, you are responsible for finding someone to take your spot or pay the remaining balance.

Coming to the educational presentation, journaling meditation session and the one on one business coaching are not mandatory. If you wish not to learn or join in you are free to do whatevaaa you want. Hike, soak in the hot tub, explore, sleep, chill etc. Just be aware of our shoot times as we will not wait around for you. We have some early morning start times so be respectful of other attendees as they sleep. If you wanna hangout and chat late at night hang out in the hot tub or around one of the fire pits.

Deposit / payment plans:  Your deposit is a non refundable to hold your spot. The remaining balances are due based on your payment plan which will be due on the 20th of each month leading up to the workshop in April.

How many attendees: There will be a total of 10 tickets available to the retreat and there will be 12 people shooting(including me). We will have three groups of four photographers and will be taking turns rotating out for center shots and to direct the models for posing that fits your style. People will be placed in groups based on their posing style.

Meals: Breakfast, snacks, drinks and two dinner meals will be provided during the retreat. You are responsible for your dinner our last night when we go out as a group for pizza in Port Angeles. If you have any food allergies please reach out and let me know.

Lodging: Your ticket includes lodging at one of our two airbnb’s both on Twilight Beach road in Port Angeles for three nights and four days.

Travel: We will be carpooling as much as possible to the shoot locations. Flights and rental cars are not included. You will want to fly into Seattle and rent a car. Port Angeles is just over a 2 hour drive from the Seattle Tacoma airport. If you are feeling up for more of a road trip. Fly into Portland and start on a 6.5 hour drive and check out Astoria Oregon to Aberdeen along the coast through Olympic National Park and to Port Angeles.
