Montrose Colorado Couples Photographer
As you can only imagine I photograph a lot of couples, and each couple stands out in their own way. However Brad and Judy are the type of couple, and share the type of love that EVERYONE in this world aches for. I have known them both since I was a freshman in high school with their oldest daughter being one of my best friends. Brad and Judy have been amazing parental figures for me throughout my life. They are both amazing examples of what the best kind of person should be: kind, loving, open, understanding, playful, forgiving, and positive. I am beyond blessed to have roll models like these two to look up to! I have never met two people more in love than Brad and Judy. Their session was full of giggles, smiles, quiet whispers of “I love you,” and countless moments of gazing at each other that made my single ass really wish I had a boyfriend! LOL!
Now, unto their love story (that someone really needs to make a movie out of btw!) I had coffee with Judy here in Montrose a few months ago where she told be their story and I about dies it is so sweet! Both of their parents were best friends before they were even born. Apparently their parents knew they were destine to fall in love before they even knew the other existed. Growing up around each other, even after Brads family moved from California to Idaho, they still saw one another throughout the years. It seamed that even though they had seen other people through the years that they always ended up coming back to each other, spending hours on the phone and always being best friends. When they were 18, Judy with her family visited Brads family in Idaho, where during this trip he told her that he broke up with his girlfriend because he loved her and kissed her. which was all a shock to Judy because at that time had a boyfriend. She told him “if you really want me, you’ll come to Cali to get me.” Still over the next 10 years through various relationships with other people, and sometimes not speaking for a year or two they maintained their friendship ending each long phone call with “you know I love you right?” Eventually they decided to see one another after a long 10 years, Judy told me she could even remember the polkadot outfit she wore and her sun kissed tan skin, walking up to Brad looking like a million bucks. In the short car ride together she told me that they knew each other better than anyone else out there, so why waste time dating and why not just tie the knot. They have been married about 30 years now and are still best friends.
I seek a love like theirs! Filled with friendship, laughter, understanding, and lots of butt touching! They are such an amazing example of what real love can be, and the fact that the spark doesn’t have to die. They prove that no matter how old you get, you can still joke about bending the other over because their butt looks “that” great in those jeans!
